There are several series that I want to get on DVD. Some I've seen, some I haven't. I'd love for someone to start bringing these to movie nights, though. :)

Already own
Heroes
Buffy: The Vampire Slayer (Seasons 1-6, seen 7)
Angel (Season 1-2, seen the rest)
Firefly

Seen most of or all of it
X-files (Seen it all)
Lost (Seen all 3 current seasons)
Star Trek: The Next Generation (Seen most of it.)
Stargate SG-1 (I've seen the first 7-8 seasons.)
Babylon 5 (Seen the first 4 seasons, none of the movies)

Seen several seasons
Queer as Folk (Seen most of the first three seasons) (US Version)
House (Seen the first two seasons, own the second)
Stargate Atlantis (Seen the first season)
Six Feet Under (Seen the first 2 seasons)

Minimally Seen.
Battlestar Gallactica, The Epic Series (Seen a few eps)
Doctor Who (Seen the first season, and a few eps of the second season)
TorchWood (Seen a few eps)
Star Trek: TOS (Haven't seen most of it.)
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (Have seen a few eps)
Star Trek: Voyager (Seen a few eps)
Star Trek: Enterprise (Seen an ep or two)
Monty Python's Flying Circus (Seen a few eps)
Seaquest DSV (Seen most of the first season, loved it)
Sliders (Seen a few eps, really liked them!)

Never Seen
Star Trek: The Animated Series (Not at all)
Battlestar Gallactica, The new series (Never seen it)
Farscape (Never seen it)
Smallville (Never seen it)

There are some awesome things online where you can, for example, get the entire Star Trek:TNG series for only $300. Since I was originally planning on spending $700 on it, that's awesome. (I was going to buy each season one at a time.) Same for DS9, SG-1, and many of the others.

This is some really quality stuff that I've missed out on because I don't watch TV and don't pirate movies. :) I really want to see them though, because everyone's talking about them. That, or it's a series I've enjoyed and want to own.

Is there anything I'm missing?

I notice that you don't have the new Doctor Who series or Torchwood listed, which is amusing considering your icon. Do you already own the doctor? Have you seen torchwood? (I'm currently going through withdrawl...no new doctor, no new BSG, and we watched torchwood before it came to the states.)

Thank goodness for Heroes!

LoL - apparently I can't read. You did list Doctor Who.

But still...Torchwood?

Oh - Dead Like Me is a fantastic series, too.

I do have both listed, btw. Look under Minimally seen. I saw the entire first season, and also watched a few season 2 eps. Torchwood also rocks.

Believe it or not, you're better off. Season 5 at the very least is just an appendix, to the incredible Seasons 1-4. I'd go direct from "Rising Star" to "Sleeping in Light."

And get out the hankies.

No, seriously, what?

You haven't seen the last season? You haven't seen the movies? And you didn't TELL me this? Goodness, girl, we could have saved you! Now you're risking eternal damnation, each and every day! :) (I'm also apparently the only fan of the 5th season, but I'm a huge fan of the oft-forgotten anti-climax)

Sliders was a very cool series at first but, IMO, got stale and repetative fairly quickly. I admittedly didn't watch much past the first season.

And you've seen far more TV than I. I can lay claim to about 30% of Buffy and Angel, very sporadically (I haven't seen any one season solid!), all of Babylon 5, and all of... Star Trek: Voyager (my secret shame...)

...

You never saw Farscape? That is the ONLY series I have ever watched start-to-finish on TV by myself (I watched all of Voyager with my parents, but they had to remind me more than a few times and it really wasn't a quarter as good). I adored Farscape and would love to rewatch it some day :)

Star Trek the animated series is only good if you want to see exactly what Shatnar will do for money. You can tell when he gets board because he loses what little emotion he can muster up. As much as I thought I would never say it Enterprise has some good episodes in season 3 and 4, just too little too late though. Farscape is awesome though. I really hate to say it but pick the new BSG over the old one, they follow the same story line but the new one just does it better (and I used to sleep on BSG sheet when I was a wee girl).

If you are interested in a dark comedy sci-fi, Lexx is a good one (gets really odd in the end though).

I don't necessarily recommend the animated series of Star Trek. The animation is TERRIBLE, and the stories aren't much better. If you do, make sure you're really high or drunk, it will ease the pain.
