Bird droppings

I created this character for a Spirit of the Century group I started playing with last night...

Behold, Chris Katana, the Amazing Aerobat!

She can do things with her special stunt plane that would make a skateboarder blush. Her favorite way to dispatch opponents in a dogfight is to leap from her plane onto her opponents plane, blow their brains out at close range, and then leap back to her own plane. She can also be found kicking her plane into a steep climb and forcing it to go into a sort of "hover" mode, while she jumps out of the cockpit with a machine gun and mows down her opponents.

In her early life, she lived in a traveling circus with her mother, learning to be an acrobat. At the age of 8, her mother died under mysterious circumstances, and her father appeared in her life for the first time. Together, they went on to creat the Flying Circus, an aerobatics extravaganza. Flying planes, amazing death-defying stunts, they did it all!

Her father told her many stories of heroism and derring-do, and she listened with rapt attention. When the Great War came upon us all, her father went off to fight the good fight for right and justice. But her father vanished, presumably killed in action. Struck with grief, Chris decided to go to war and fight in her father's name. But to do that, she would have to dress up as a boy and fight as her father's "son."

During the war, she earned great renown as being one of the most incredible pilots of the RAF. Her feats of derring-do were legendary, and she took down more enemy pilots than practically any other pilot out there. This fame followed her long after the war.

These days, she is once again with the Flying Circus, traveling around the world looking for chances to be the hero she knows she can be. Though she still sports a somewhat androgynous appearance, she no longer hides the fact that she's female, and it is a shock to many when they discover that the amazing Chris Katana is actually a woman.
