Well, we had a bit of car trouble. It seems that the engine on my car is dying. It's actually burning oil at an extremely rapid rate. The car shop we took it to is going to be doing what they can to try to help us get through our trip, but it's not unlikely that I won't have this car much longer, which really sucks since I still owe so much money on it... :(

I've been having the time of my life here in Denver. Such a welcoming and open environment. I feel so alive and enriched by my time here. And I've made some REALLY amazing friends. *happy sigh* I'm totally adding this place to my list of places to visit. :)

Anyways, we're going to be leaving Denver within the next hour or two and starting on our way to Salt Lake City. We're hoping to get there early enough that we can get a hotel room and sleep. I'll see y'all when we hit San Jose, if we make it through the crazy destroyed bridge out there. :P

Ouch. Crosses fingers.

Probably a good idea to have extra supplies while crossing Nevada. Water, food, blankets, etc incase anything goes wrong. I think you're staying on major freeways, but that can be pretty harsh area and if noone comes by for awhile, it could suck - especially at night. If you had problems, and turned off trying to find a town and got lost, it could suck even more.

PLEASE CALL me when you get there so i know you are all right. I am so worried about that car. Eric says to keep lots of oil on hand and just add it and you will be fine but dont let it run out of oil because then you will fry the engine.
If you get stuck dont get off anywhere ---you might get bitten by a rattlesnake--hahaha.
I think you should give up on cars and get a bike!!!!!

Denver was really a happy place for me. :) I look forward to going back and seeing you folks again.

I was disappointed that you didn't get to see us off, but glad of the time we did spend together. (I left a goodbye kiss with pandagenma, did you get it? ;P ) Not having time with you encouraged pandagenma and I to spend more one-on-one time together, which was really nice and powerful for us, so it wasn't a complete bust. :)

I dearly look forward to getting together with you and your family more later this summer. Keep in touch and all that. :)
