My new job requires me to get a passport, as I will have to other countries from time to time. So... What do I need to know about this, being a trans-woman?
I've got my driver's license and Social Security card in my new name, but I still am registered as a male. Furthermore, my home state (Ohio) does not allow birth certificate gender to be modified. I don't know if the name can be modified or if I even should try to modify it...
Where do I go? What documentation do I need? What traps can I expect to trip me up?
