Wow...

This is an email changelingjane received about a young girl that recently came to TransFamily. She's been dealing with the conscious issues of being Trans since the onset of puberty. One of the most awesome things about her is that she's got a really supportive mother. In fact, her mom brought her to TransFamily and did most of the speaking for her (She's really ashamed of her voice). Afterwards, I ran over to her and started talking to her, to thank them both for coming and see if I could offer any help. Here's her reaction to it:

I got an e-mail from the mom of [M], the 17-year-old who came to the meeting. Here is an excerpt I wanted to share with you:
"[M] couldn't be quiet on the way home from the meeting. that much enthusiasm and happiness hasn't been there for years and years. She kept saying they're so nice, they're so nice."

Aww...isn't that the best?? I have to say that when you, gentle_gamer, artsygirlstace, and ellie_l were standing around that kid, taking her under your collective wing, it was one of the most touching things I have seen in long time. :)
